Mail Verifications
You may forward your request for verification of employment or direct the verifier to send the request to the following address:

Requests must
include:
- An authorization, signed by you, giving the NYCT Verifications Office permission to release information from your personnel data file.
- Your pass number or Social Security Number (or, at a minimum, the last four digits of your social security number)
The employment verification will then be mailed to your mailing address on file.

Walk-In Verifications
If you decide to stop in to pick up your Job Letter in person, you will need to report to the Walk-in Verifications Office, at the site of the NYCT Employment Center, located at 180 Livingston Street, 5th Floor in downtown Brooklyn, between 9a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. You may shorten your waiting time if you email your request to employment.verification@nyct.com before your arrival.
E-Mail Verifications
You can also E-Mail your job letter request to employment.verification@nyct.com. Requests must include your pass number or Social Security Number (or, at a minimum, the last four digits of your Social Security Number). The Job Letter will then be mailed to your mailing address on record.
